NBI Clearance Online Application for 2022

NBI clearance is a necessary document for Filipinos to verify their identity as good citizens. We all know how government documents are essential for a person. If you need to get this document for any reason, you can submit the NBI clearance online application form.

Step By Step Process for Online Registration

Online registration enables us to apply without visiting the branch office and waiting for a long process. As a Filipino, you need a single day to claim and collect your application if you don’t have HIT status. 

However, if you have HIT status, it will take a maximum of 15 days to claim your NBI clearance certificate. The following are the steps you should follow while applying for the NBI clearance online application.

Register Yourself

Start by visiting the official NBI site by typing https://www.nbi-clearance.com/ in the search bar. You’ll be directed to the main page, where you’ll see the registration section, as shown in the below picture. 

Fill out the registration form by typing your full name, date of birth, and NBI ID number. 

After filling out the form, you must check “Yes” or “No” depending on whether you have issued the NBI clearance. Read the instructions on the top of the registration box, as shown in the picture below. After selecting, check the “I’m not a robot” box and press the proceed button. 

After submitting the registration form, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number to verify it’s you. NBI is now using the OTP system to ensure the security of the individuals. 

If you didn’t receive the OTP, you can ask by clicking on the resend option. After receiving the 6-digit OTP, enter it and proceed to the next step.

Fill the Application

Fill in all the information, including your name, address, gender, status, date of birth, mobile number, email, and other information. Remember to fill in each section carefully by verifying your documents. After filing all this information, click the save information option to proceed to the next step. 

After saving the information, you’ll see a preview with the “apply and edit options”. Double-check the information and edit any section you filled out with incorrect information. After checking carefully, click on the “apply for NBI clearance button”, as shown below.

Choose Valid ID

After clicking on apply for NBI clearance, a box will appear where you must choose a valid ID for verification. You must present these IDs in the branch office. As per the available ID, you can type the ID type and the presented ID. Afterward, click the “I agree” option to proceed to the next step. 

Schedule Appointment 

Next, the appointment schedule page will open to see when the appointment is available. Choose the date, time, and branch to set the appointment for the branch office. Choose the nearest branch and the day from Monday to Friday. 

Make Payment

After scheduling your appointment, you’ll see the payment options and details on the right side of the screen. Choose the suitable payment option and make a payment displayed at the top of the payment page. A new pop-up window will appear to check the details. 

Here, click on the proceed option to see the reference number. Save the reference number and accept it. You need to show it along with the documents on the appointment date. 

Claim Your Certificate

Now that the application has been submitted, you need to wait for the appointment time. You must appear in the branch office with the following things. 

• Two valid IDs
• Suitable attire
• NBI clearance receipt with reference number

However, before receiving the NBI clearance, you need to take a photo and fingerprint and do biometric verification. Now, wait for the NBI clearance certificate to print and claim it.
